THE ANATOMY

OBJECTIVE

The objective of the expeditions is to provide people who share a passion for exploration and has a sense for adventure to explore and research the many outdoor and underwater wonders in Asia.

The first step we take is to open new frontiers such as venturing into new and undiscovered wrecks, caves and interesting places. We also provide special training necessary for the participants to perform their task efficiently which is otherwise unavailable elsewhere.

These projects will set the benchmark for the making of underwater documentaries in South East Asia Asia. A production series entitled 'FishEyeProject - Underwater Adventure Series in South East Asia' will be produced.

STEP 1 - Pioneering

We send up our team on pioneering trips to places that has an interesting story to be captured. Intensive homework and research will than be carried out. Photos and video captured on the pioneer trip will be used to produce support materials for the eventual expedition. This pioneering phase determined the feasibility to organize a filming expedition to the place.

STEP 2 - Review and Project Planning

After the pioneer trip a thorough review of the content together as well as the safety and operational aspect will be closely evaluated. Satisfying the planning process, the project will be approved for an expedition and to seek for support by publishing a project paper. This document will include the expedition dates, its content, the duration, the storyboard and so on.

STEP 3 - Sponsorship

Once the expedition is confirmed, the costing is determined. The expedition costs may be supported by sponsorship, share-cost, joint venture or self-financing. Participants may need to contribute their part of the share.

Sponsors will receive all the media coverage given to the expedition and credited in the final product.

STEP 4 - Participation
Potential participants sign up for an expedition. For every expedition, a maximum number of participants will be indicated and bookings will be based on selection and meeting of required skill set, however, there are expeditions that have prerequisites that need to be met by the participants before being considered. Once signed up, you may opt to attend an expedition briefing or have the expedition materials mailed to you or accessed online.

STEP 5 - Expedition Briefing
Expedition briefing is organized prior to commencement of the expedition. Information gathered on the pioneer or earlier projects will familiarize participants how best to prepare themselves to play their part for the expedition.
Further meetings may be arranged by the team leader discretion.

STEP 6 - The Training (Underwater Explorers Workshop)

The expedition team member will perform different roles to meet the objectives of the trip. The documenting of the project is mandatory. Training is provided in areas where special skills are required such as the use of video and underwater communication systems. You are required to successfully complete the UEC (Underwater Explorer Course) Program.

STEP 7 - Summary Meeting
After the expedition, the team leader arranges a summary meeting for all participants. The objective of this meeting is to complete the project journal, view the project video and image presentation. It is also a social night for the group to declare successful completion of the expedition.

NOTE:
Only members who have been on projects with us may qualify as participants for pioneer trip.
