HOW IT WORKS

Join us as we research and document underwater wrecks, caverns, caves and other interesting sites in Asia. Be a part of the pioneer team in exploring and documenting this untouched last frontier first hand.

This is the first of its kind dive expedition the region has ever offered. Get serious and join the team to experience your adventure of a lifetime & work with world-class documentary filmmakers and tek divers.

RESEARCH PROJECTS & EXPLORATION

PRE DIVE RESEARCH
The team will be provided with task sheet to do research on projects concerned prior to expedition dates (pls refer to projects schedules). Paperwork and information updates will be send to the team to follow up research details. Cameraman and support members will co-operate with the organizers closely for footage sequences, requirements and logistic considerations.

DURATION
The duration stated starts at the respective departure point to the respective destination. A full project schedule will be sending to the team as soon as available.

PROJECT COSTS
This is the costs covering the trip, vessel charter, expedition expenses and special equipment rental such as underwater camera systems, video camera, closed-circuit television, lighting, underwater communication system, mixing panels, compressors and dive scooters.

PARTICIPANTS SHARE
Costs includes transport, accommodation (from nothing to something overhead),
primary air cylinders, boat fee where applicable, weights and leader.
Exclude standard scuba gears, nitrox or trimix fills, additional gears and expenses of a personal nature. (pls refer to equipment rental list)

 
 
 

 

 
 
TEAM SIZE
This is the total number of participants allowed in one project including principle & assist member. Other land base production members are not included.

GOALS
This project is aimed at setting the benchmark for underwater exploration documentaries in Asia. At the end of every expedition, documentation in a form of video, slides and articles will be produced.

This information will be given to the media such as dive and adventure magazines, the press, equipment manufacturers, etc to create awareness of underwater explorations in this region. Upon completion of the whole project a broadcast production series entitled “FishEyeProject - Underwater Adventure Series in South East Asia” will be produced. A book that features the expeditions will also be produced.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR
If any of the following roles is/are relevant to you and your PASSION doing them email our project leader at: michael@fisheyeproject.com.

Kindly send a short write up about yourself and tell us how you can contribute to the project if you are given that role.

• Writer – you have a good command of English or other language and enjoys writing on outdoor and nature.
• Back up Photographer & Videographer – above or underwater.
• Narrator – you have a pleasant personality and a good voice.
• Assisting Crew – you can support the filming crew above or underwater.
• Graphic Artist – you have skills in graphic design and able to work with Adobe and Macromedia software.
• Editor – you are able to work with Final Cut Pro and other Mac. Professional production software. (not too critical)
• Any other roles you feel can fit in. (make your creative suggestion)

IMPORTANT NOTE

Our project will run from the 15th of February 2004 to 30th December 2005.
The final post-production process will be completed by 30th June 2006. During these periods you may contact us to join the team.
